WebHealth Network Media (WHN) is a high-growth digital media company headquartered in Toronto, selling primarily in the US and the UK. There has been an incredible migration to digital media in the Healthcare sector over the last three years due to the pandemic, and there are no signs of it slowing down. Already a leader in the industry, WHN is positioned to gain significant market share during this very exciting time!

Clients are primarily media agency buyers/planners that represent Hospital Networks, Pharmaceutical, Biotech, and Medical Device companies. We own over 20 health resource sites, and partner with over 2,000 health sites, resulting in over 100 million health content webpages to reach 2.6 million Healthcare Professionals in our database (by specialty and location), and 90% of US consumers, patients, and caregivers.

We are looking to fill the role of Digital Marketing Associate. This is a results-oriented person who is enthusiastic about learning about Digital Marketing and focusing on developing, nurturing, and proposing solutions, and eventually executing digital campaigns for our clients.

In this sales and marketing role, you will be part of a dynamic team with the opportunity to develop and hone your skills through training, mentorships, and cross-functional collaboration. You will be trained on Data Targeting Methodologies, Leveraging Different Digital Tactics and Solution Selling to the Healthcare industry.

Expect to wear multiple hats to bring value to the company and to determine the right career path for you. You will be joining a team of like-minded Digital Marketing Associates, Customer Success and Technology experts bringing solutions to our large, branded Healthcare clients.

Your first six months will be about learning and developing your skills in a team environment:

  • Request for Proposal (RFP) process and proposals
  • Account management and customer success
  • Client Appointment setting and qualifying
  • Email lead generation

The following six months will be about taking your skills to the next level working with major clients throughout the US

  • Learn how to present our offerings and uncover new opportunities
  • Lead RFP responses for digital advertising campaigns budgeted from $50k to over $1M USD
  • Provide solutions to major pharmaceutical and medical device companies and their media agencies
  • Responding to day-to-day client needs
  • Face-to-face meetings (New York, Chicago, etc.)
  • Coordinating campaign management with technical staff
  • Understanding and be able to navigate the technologies for data targeting and reporting for omnichannel (display, mobile, video, email, social etc.)
  • Leading presentations and calls

Qualifications

  • MUST HAVE: Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • MUST HAVE: Strong Organization and Communication skills (written and verbal)
  • BA/BS or equivalent working experience
  • Past experience with email marketing, lead nurturing, marketing automation, and web analytics; and/or sales experience are assets
  • Knowledge of digital marketing and media agencies is a definite asset
  • Technical Skills: Word and Outlook
  • Ability to travel to the US is essential
